Hello my name is Christina, the creator of Body Representation: An on-going series. The idea for this series all began when I bought a few clothing items from a size inclusive brand and when I received them, I hated ALL of them! When I went back to their site I realized all these “plus” bodies were the same, and not a representation at all of what my body type is. So, being a photographer who loves all things beauty and has a platform dedicated to body positivity I wanted to create another outlet for us to be seen and heard.

As consumers all our bodies deserve to be marketable, viewed as fashionable, and captured with respect. This series to me is a chance for womxn from all walks of life to celebrate their bodies, share their views, and show that they too have a place and a voice. We deserve for brands to start creating for more body types, and showcasing these bodies on a large scale.
